The last weeks of May will see statewide Republican conventions in two of the largest states in the Union, and Donald Trump’s Agenda47 has been put front and center in both states.

CALIFORNIA

On the eve of the California State Republican convention which kicks off on Friday, May 17 in the Bay Area, a resolution supporting Donald Trump’s Agenda47 was passed by the Alameda County Republican party. The overwhelming vote of 20 in favor and 1 against was submitted by Promethean PAC organizers Mindy and Gerald Pechenuk. The Resolution follows: 

RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT THE AGENDA 47 OF PRESIDENT TRUMP

(Passed by Alameda County Republican Central Committee on Wednesday, May 15, 2024)

•  Whereas, the Agenda 47 short videos produced by President Donald Trump’s campaign spell out his optimistic policy solutions on energy, education, health care, border security, trade, strengthening working families, and preventing World War 3; and
• Whereas, these Agenda 47 policies are designed by President Trump to mobilize a direct deliberation of grass roots citizens in National policy making, taking that out of the hands of the so-called Establishment Think Tanks;
• Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved,  that the Republican Party of Alameda County fully endorses President Trump’s Agenda 47 visionary positive solutions for the reconstruction of America, and will use these to recruit independent and traditional Democrat voters for a landslide victory in November 2024.

Coming right before the state convention, the resolution is significant because the drive to pass the Agenda47 resolutions in this convention will  set the tone for an offensive to create a growing and confident Republican Party UNITED around Trump's leadership and solutions throughout California.

TEXAS

The State Convention of the Texas Republican Party meeting in San Antonio, TX,  will be challenged next week to stand firmly with Trump's Agenda47. Promethean PAC organizers in Houston, TX, shepherded a resolution through the Senate District Convention (which includes part of Houston), which now will be taken up at the State convention.

The resolution reads:

"Be it resolved that the Republican Party of the State of Texas fully endorses President Trump’s Agenda 47 visionary positive solutions for the reconstruction of America, and will use these to recruit independent and traditional Democrat voters for a landslide victory in November 2024".

Promethean PAC organizer Peter Bowen will be at the Resolutions pre-convention proceedings, starting on May 20 to fight for the resolution. Our full delegation will be at the convention, which  convenes on May 23, 2024. 

While Texas is nominally a red state, the Bush legacy still runs deep in the party. This is a state where the TRINO (Trumpers in Name Only) phenomenon is widespread. Rather than a unified Trump Party, five different factions are vying for Party leadership, and none of them are campaigning around Trump’s visionary policies as captured by Agenda47. We will use the resolution passed by the District Convention as the spear point in our fight to turn the Texas GOP into the party of Trump.
